Flash is a visual memory game. A grid appears, a few squares light up for a split second, and then everything goes blank. Your job: tap back every square that was lit. It takes a second to learn and a long time to get good at.
Every level adds squares or grows the grid, from 3×3 up to 7×7, and the flash gets a little quicker. Then, from level 8, the board starts to turn after the flash, so you have to rotate the pattern in your head too.
Flash is part of Unrot, a series of twenty short games that each put one mental skill to the test: memory, attention, speed or logic. Twenty games. Zero brainrot.
How to play
- Watch the squares that light up.
- When they vanish, tap every one that was lit, in any order.
- A wrong tap is a strike. Three strikes and the run is over.
- From level 8, a label warns you when the board is about to rotate or mirror. Tap where the squares landed, not where they were.
Scoring
- Your score is the level you reach.
- A level cleared with no wrong taps is perfect, and perfect levels break ties.
- Play the Daily for one scored run on the same boards as everyone else, and keep your Unrot streak alive.
Tips
- Don’t memorize squares one by one. See the shape they make together: a line, an L, a corner cluster.
- Tap the squares you’re sure of first, then think about the rest. There’s no timer.
- On a turn, track one corner of the shape and let the rest follow it.
- A mirror only swaps left and right. Top stays top.
